As an Account Associate - Sales Support, you will collaborate closely with an Account Representative, Account Manager, or Agent to provide vital support that enhances sales efforts and fosters strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include assisting with various aspects of the sales process to ensure smooth operations and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Assist the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent with administrative duties such as managing schedules, organizing appointments, and handling communications.
- Work together with the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent to identify potential clients and generate leads through research and outreach activities.
- Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals alongside the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent, highlighting the advantages and features of the products/services offered.
- Manage incoming client calls and inquiries, providing accurate information, resolving concerns, or directing them to the appropriate contact.
- Maintain and update client databases to ensure that all client information is accurate and current.
- Follow up with clients to confirm their satisfaction, address any post-sales questions, and provide ongoing assistance.
- Generate sales reports, analyze sales data, track performance metrics, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products/services, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the sales process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and efficient sales workflow.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and uphold professional ethics.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in sales, particularly within the insurance sector, is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships.
- Proficient negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and meet targets.
- Competent computer skills, including familiarity with insurance-related software and CRM systems.
- A valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe (requirements vary by location).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
