- Assist the account representative/manager/agent with administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
- Collaborate with the account representative/manager/agent to identify potential clients and generate leads through research and prospecting activities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals in coordination with the account representative/manager/agent, emphasizing the benefits and features of the offered products/services.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries from clients, providing accurate information and addressing their concerns or directing them to the appropriate contact.
- Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction, address post-sales queries, and offer ongoing support.
- Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and assist in tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and proposing improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products/services, and competitors, providing insights and suggestions to enhance the sales process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient sales process.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maintain professional ethics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close sales and achieve targets.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of insurance-related software and CRM systems.
- A valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe (requirements vary by jurisdiction).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
