- Assist the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent with administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing appointments, and facilitating communications.
- Collaborate with the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent to identify prospective clients and generate leads through research and outreach efforts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals alongside the Account Representative, Manager, or Agent, emphasizing the benefits and features of the products/services provided.
- Handle incoming client calls and inquiries, supplying accurate information, addressing concerns, or routing them to the appropriate party.
- Maintain and update client databases to ensure all client information remains accurate and up to date.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction, address any post-sale inquiries, and provide ongoing support.
- Generate sales reports, analyze sales data, monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and propose enhancements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products/services, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations to improve the sales process.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate a smooth and efficient sales workflow.
- Manage confidential information with care and adhere to professional ethics.
- An insurance license in both Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Disability is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in sales, particularly in the insurance industry, is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients and cultivate relationships.
- Proficient negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve targets.
- Solid computer skills, including familiarity with insurance-related software and CRM systems.
- A valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe (requirements vary by location).
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
